Southampton Concert Orchestra - Last Night of the Proms

 Bring your picnic, champagne and flag to enjoy the renowned Southampton Concert Orchestra in a Last Night of the Proms concert.


Conducted by Paul Ingram and featuring music from Elgar, Parry, Coates, Tchaikovsky, John Williams and many more, this promises to be a fantastic evening of music at the gardens.

This open-air classical concert features all the usual Last Night favourites including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.
 

Gates open from 6pm. Booking is essential.

I will be performing at St. Boniface Church as part of the fantastic Christmas Tree Festival tomorrow (Saturday 29th November) at 7.30pm.  It is a free concert (with donations as you leave) lasting just an hour with no interval.  Also playing will be Hugh Benham (organ and piano), Sophie McKellar (violin) and Hannah Nanapragasam (saxophone).  The Christmas Tree Festival runs all weekend and if you can't make the concert it is worth dropping into the church to see the trees at another time.
