Flute players are invited to come and participate in a flute day with a difference...
Luna's Magic Flute is a fairytale, which invites you to join Luna and her Magic Flute as they set out on an unforgettable adventure into the wide world. In the story Luna takes a train journey, makes new friends under the sea and triumphs over the evil dragon who steals her magic flute.
As well as playing the flute you are invited to explore the use of puppetry and dance to convey the story of Luna and her magic flute. There will also be some narration parts. Everything beyond playing the flute is optional.
Workshop leaders Sarah Finch and Joanna Price are experienced musicians, conductors, performers, DBS checked and first aid trained.
Come and perform the story live on Saturday 7th July at The Arch, Station Lane, Chandler's Ford, SO53 4DD. Rehearsals run from 10am-4pm with a FREE performance to friends and family at 4pm.
